The Honourable John G. Abbott, Minister of Children, Seniors and Social Development, will attend the official opening of the 52 km section of the East Coast Trail between Topsail Beach and Cape St. Francis tomorrow (Thursday, May 19).

The event will take place at Topsail Beach, Conception Bay South, starting at 12:00 p.m. and will be followed by a short hike.

The East Coast Trail is a 336 km market-ready, pedestrian, coastal trail that runs along the eastern edge of the Avalon Peninsula between Topsail Beach and Cappahayden.
