The Honourable John G. Abbott, Minister of Children, Seniors and Social Development and Minister Responsible for the Status of Persons with Disabilities, will attend the Atlantic Sports and Recreation Weekend Banquet by the Canadian Council of the Blind on Sunday, May 22.

The event takes place at The Capital Hotel, 208 Kenmount Road, St. John’s, starting at 5:00 p.m.

The Canadian Council of the Blind is a membership-based non-profit organization that brings together Canadians who are blind, deaf-blind or living with vision loss through chapters within their own local communities to share common interests and social activities.
