Public Advisory: Emergency Services for Individuals Impacted by the State of Emergency in Central Newfoundland Moved to Deer Lake

The Canadian Red Cross has relocated shelter services and resources from Grand Falls-Windsor to Deer Lake for individuals who may be impacted by the state of emergency declared in Central Newfoundland. This includes those impacted by the closure of the Bay d’Espoir Highway and deteriorating air quality in that region.

A congregate shelter will be available today (Sunday, August 7) at 7:00 p.m. at Hodder Memorial Centre, 8-10 Crescent Street, Deer Lake.
