As part of Come Home Year 2022 celebrations, the Provincial Government has launched a Come Home Year licence plate.

The plates will be placed on new vehicles purchased in the province in 2022. Plates will also available at all Motor Registration Division and Government Service Centre locations for those who need to replace their current plate due to peeling.

They are also available for purchase should a vehicle owner want to replace an existing plate. A plate replacement fee of $30 will be applied ($13 for individuals 65 years and older), as per the fee policy. Peeling plates are replaced free of charge.

Come Home Year licence plates are not vanity plates. They are official plates that will follow the vehicles for which they are registered.
