The Honourable Sarah Stoodley, Minister of Digital Government and Service NL, on behalf of the Honourable Andrew Parsons, Minister of Industry, Energy and Technology, will join Joanne Thompson, Member of Parliament for St. John’s East, on behalf of the Honourable Ginette Petitpas Taylor, Minister of Official Languages and minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, for a funding announcement at Memorial University tomorrow (Friday, May 27).

The event takes place in the Frank & Eileen Gronich Lecture Theatre (room M1M102), Faculty of Medicine, Memorial University, Clinch Crescent, St. John’s, beginning at 11:00 a.m.

Minister Stoodley and MP Thompson will be joined by Frank Attaie, General Manager – Technology, IBM Canada and Dr. Neil Bose, Vice-President (Research), Memorial University.

Be advised that parking is limited and that carpools/taxis are recommended.

Those attending the news conference are reminded that masks are mandatory on campus at Memorial University.
