The Honourable Andrew Furey, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will take part in events to mark the completion of construction of new 60-bed long-term care homes in Gander and Grand Falls-Windsor on Monday, March 28. Premier Furey will be joined by the Honourable John Haggie, Minister of Health and Community Services.

The event in Gander will take place at the new long-term care home on Magee Road, beginning at 2:00 p.m. The event in Grand Falls-Windsor will take place at the new home on Scott Avenue, beginning at 4:00 p.m.

A tour of each new home will be provided for media following each event.

The announcement will be livestreamed via Central Health on Facebook.

Attendees are encouraged to wear masks and practice physical distancing.
