The Honourable Steve Crocker, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Arts and Recreation, on behalf of the Honourable Andrew Furey, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will be in the City of Hamburg, Germany today (Tuesday, September 27) to sign a joint Declaration of Intent on cooperation in the field of green hydrogen and hydrogen technologies.

Minister Crocker will also attend the 2022 WindEnergy Hamburg Conference + H2 Expo and Conference, and meet with German officials on behalf of Premier Furey.

Newfoundland and Labrador’s renewable energy resources have significant potential, particular its wind resources, and the opportunity to bring them to the global marketplace in the form of green hydrogen.
