Effective Tuesday, May 24, forest access roads in the Happy Valley-Goose Bay area will be closed to vehicle traffic until further notice at the following locations:

• South Branch Forest Access Road
• Goose River Forest Access Road
• Grove’s Point Forest Access Road
• Grand Lake Forest Access Road System (.8 km mark, at the second gate)

Temporary closures at this time of year are required to protect forest access roads from damage during the spring thaw period. Roads will remain open for ATV use.
