Salmonier Nature Park will open to visitors tomorrow (Wednesday, June 1). The park entrance gate will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
Some areas of the park may be inaccessible or closed for portions of the day throughout the summer and fall due to ongoing repairs and upgrades to park infrastructure. Updates on closures will be available on the department’s Twitter account @FFA_GovNL and on the Friends of Salmonier Nature Park Facebook page.
Salmonier Nature Park has 17 wildlife enclosures adjacent to a three-kilometre wooden boardwalk/nature trail, surrounded by unique boreal forest habitat.
