The online Self-Assessment and Test Reporting tool, previously known as the Self-Assessment and Testing Referral Tool, has been updated to assist in determining if the antiviral Paxlovid, may be an appropriate treatment option for an individual. More information on Paxlovid, including eligibility criteria and how to access, can be found here.

The tool has also been expanded to allow people to report their positive rapid self-test result. While it is voluntary, it will help Public Health better gauge the extent of COVID-19 transmission in the province.

A positive rapid test result can be recorded regardless of where the rapid test was obtained, whether through school, travel, a private laboratory, etc. Individuals can report their result if they tested positive in the last 10 days. The time limit is in place to ensure only recent and active cases are provided direction on self-isolation and testing. The expanded application will also help people determine if they need a PCR test.
