Local, well-established information technology and electronics firm Compusult Limited, will further diversify its presence, while growing its existing market share in the United States, though support from the Provincial Government.
Headquartered in Mount Pearl, Compusult Limited has a presence in global markets including the United States, Europe and Asia. The company is looking to broaden its export market throughout North America and Europe by pursuing new and expanded opportunities in areas such as Geospatial Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning solutions, and Assistive Technology products for persons with disabilities, focusing on opportunities from NATO, other defense agencies, and their contractors.
Compusult Limited has been designing, developing, operating and supporting web-based and mobile Geospatial Information System solutions for defense, aerospace, and government agencies. The company will receive a non-repayable grant of $149,000 through the Business Development Support Program.
Starting as a computer consulting firm, Compusult has grown its data management solutions with a turnkey system used around the globe – its Web Enterprise Suite helps organizations manage, organize and access data, so they can make more well-informed decisions.
Growth through the tech and innovation sector means creating a stronger economy for the province. The investment attraction and export development potential for job creation and economic growth in Newfoundland and Labrador are significant.
