The west wing of Confederation Building, East Block, from the basement to the fifth floor is currently closed due to a power outage.

Repairs to restore power are currently underway. Government business will not be impacted as departments are developing a plan to ensure operations continue.

Confederation Building, West Block, and all other areas of East Block remain open.

More information on repairs and the west wing of East Block reopening will be provided as repairs continue.
