The Honourable Sarah Stoodley, Minister of Digital Government and Service NL, will attend the St. John’s and District Labour Council’s National Day of Mourning Ceremony tomorrow (Friday, April 28).
The event takes place in the East Block lobby, Confederation Building starting at 12:00 p.m.
Taking place on April 28 each year, the National Day of Mourning is dedicated to remembering those who have lost their lives, suffered injury or illness on the job, or experienced a work-related tragedy. It is also a day to collectively commit to improving occupational health and safety, and work to prevent further injuries, illnesses and deaths.
