Digital Government and Service NL reminds the public that as the winter season approaches, motorists should consider having their winter tires installed before road conditions turn to snow and ice. Those who choose to use studded tires may do so as of Wednesday, November 1, 2023.

Motorists are reminded to drive according to weather conditions, ensure tires are in good condition, that brakes, wipers and lights are in working order, and that all fluid levels including windshield wash, antifreeze and oil are checked regularly.
