The Honourable Dr. Andrew Furey, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, and the Honourable Lisa Dempster, Minister of Labrador Affairs and Minister Responsible for Indigenous Affairs and Reconciliation, extend their congratulations to the new Grand Chief, Deputy Grand Chief and Board of Directors of the Innu Nation.

The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador thanks outgoing Grand Chief Etienne Rich and Deputy Grand Chief Mary Ann Nui, and the former Board of Directors, for their service and dedication during their tenure in their leadership positions. The Provincial Government also extends appreciation to all individuals who put themselves forward as candidates in the Innu Nation election.
