The Honourable Dr. Andrew Furey, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will be speaking at a special job fair taking place tomorrow (Thursday, September 21) in Fort McMurray, Alberta.

The job fair will take place at Earl’s Kitchen, 9802 Morrison Street, Fort McMurray beginning at 4:00 p.m.

Premier Furey will be joined by Newfoundland and Labrador employers eager to convince skilled workers the time is right to live and work in this province.

Newfoundland and Labrador is anticipating more than 79,000 job openings within the next decade. Most of these jobs will be in skilled trades, transportation and equipment operation, as well as sales and service.
