The Honourable Dr. Andrew Furey, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will make an announcement today (Monday, October 23) about the provincial approach for ride sharing.

The announcement will take place at the Alt Hotel St. John’s, 125 Water Street at 11:00 a.m. A technical briefing for media will take place at 10:30 a.m.

Premier Furey will be joined by the Honourable Sarah Stoodley, Minister of Digital Government and Service NL and the Honourable John Haggie, Minister of Municipal and Provincial Affairs, as well as AnnMarie Boudreau, Chief Executive Officer, St. John’s Board of Trade and Cathy Duke, Chief Executive Officer, Destination St. John’s.
