The installation of the Lieutenant Governor designate, Joan Marie Aylward, will take place on Tuesday, November 14 at 11:30 a.m. in the House of Assembly. The ceremony will be carried live on television over the House of Assembly Channel.

Following the ceremony and receiving line, the Lieutenant Governor will proceed to the front entrance of the Confederation Building, East Block, where she will receive the Vice-Regal Salute and inspect the Guard of Honour.

The House of Assembly Broadcast Centre will provide a media feed and media representatives are asked to be in place by 11:00 a.m. on the day of the ceremony.

Media intending to cover the installation of the Lieutenant Governor are asked to contact the Communications Branch by 3:00 p.m., Thursday, November 9.
