The Department of Fisheries, Forestry and Agriculture is hosting a FireSmart awareness event to create greater awareness of FireSmart Canada services and programs, and to demonstrate safe FireSmart practices, which reduce the risk of wildfire on residential properties.

The event will take place on Monday, June 12 at 2:30 p.m. at the Paddy’s Pond Forest Management District Office, 220 Paddy’s Pond Road.
