Public Advisory: Forestry and Wildlife Services Front Counter Relocated in Corner Brook Area

Effective today (Monday, September 18), front line services previously available at the Massey Drive Forest Management District Office will be delivered from the Department of Fisheries, Forestry and Agriculture headquarters building located at 192 Wheeler’s Road in Corner Brook. The following services and permits will now be available from the headquarters location:

  • Report a nuisance or injured wildlife;
  • Domestic cutting permits;
  • Operating permits;
  • Permit to burn;
  • Domestic sawmill licences;
  • Permit to transport long guns;
  • Permit to transport wild game;
  • Temporary Outdoor Identification Cards;
  • Replacement big game tags; and
  • Request appointment with a Conservation Officer with regard to hunting and trapping (i.e. beaver pelt stamping; harvested unhealthy large gamecarcass; or coyote carcass collection).

These services and permits are available by visiting the office in-person at 192 Wheeler’s Road, or by telephone at 709-637-2370, and parking is available onsite.
