Officials from the Provincial Government are attending the North America Prospect Exhibit Summit in Houston, Texas from February 1 to 3, 2023. The summit is the energy industry’s marketplace for the buying, selling and trading of prospects and producing properties.

This summit is considered a premier international event to highlight the province’s prospectivity, calls for bids, supply and service sector and energy investment opportunities. Attracting over 10,000 delegates and 1,000 exhibiters from around the world, this event is an excellent opportunity to promote Newfoundland and Labrador as a globally preferred location for energy development.

The Department of Industry, Energy and Technology, along with industry partners, has been attending this event for over 15 years. The department is also participating in the Canadian Consulate’s program through Global Affairs Canada, which provides the opportunity to connect with major corporate exploration decision makers.
