The Honourable Andrew Parsons, KC, Minister of Industry, Energy and Technology, will speak at the Association for New Canadians’ Newcomer Entrepreneurship Training Program Graduation Ceremony today (Thursday, April 27).

The event takes place at the Linc School cafeteria, 148 Elizabeth Avenue, St. John’s beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Minister Parsons will be joined by Joanne Thompson, Member of Parliament for St. John’s East; and His Worship Danny Breen, Mayor of St. John’s.

The Newcomer Entrepreneurship Training Program is a 14-week program designed to help immigrants and newcomers with entrepreneurial skills and mindset with establishing their business in Newfoundland and Labrador.
