The Honourable Andrew Parsons, KC, Minister of Industry, Energy and Technology, will announce details of a new Green Transition Fund tomorrow (Wednesday, June 21).

The announcement will take place at the Office of Applied Research and Innovation, College of the North Atlantic, 425 Topsail Road, St. John’s beginning at 12:00 p.m.

Minister Parsons will be joined by Kieran Hanley, Chief Executive Officer, econext; Charlene Johnson, Chief Executive Officer, Energy NL; and Dr. Michael Long, Dean of Applied Research and Innovation, College of the North Atlantic.

In May 2022, West White Rose partners committed $100 million to establish a Green Transition Fund, as part of the restructuring of its agreement with the Provincial Government to restart the project.
