The Honourable Andrew Parsons, KC, Minister of Industry, Energy and Technology, will address the Council for Innovation and Commercialization of the Conference Board of Canada tomorrow (Wednesday, September 27).

The event takes place at Memorial University’s Marine Institute, lower level conference centre, 155 Ridge Road, St. John’s at 9:15 a.m.

The meeting, with the theme “From Resources to Riches: Transitioning to an Innovation Economy” aims for participants to gain an understanding of the transition towards an innovation economy in Newfoundland and Labrador, and how the region’s advantages in clean energy and mineral resources can be harnessed to create sustainable and globally competitive opportunities.
