Motorists travelling on Pitts Memorial Drive away from downtown St. John’s will be reduced to one lane tomorrow (Wednesday, January 18). The closure will begin at 9:00 a.m., and the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure anticipates work being completed and all lanes being reopened by approximately 4:00 p.m.

The right lane will be closed between the CN Viaduct and the overpass above Blackhead Road. The closure is necessary due to a crew working in the vicinity of the highway.

Motorists are asked to pay attention to traffic control measures and to be prepared to slow down.
