The westbound lanes of Pitts Memorial Drive leading from downtown St. John’s will be closed this evening (Thursday, April 20) from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The closure is necessary due to repair work on the bridge. The westbound lanes will be closed between the downtown access point to Pitts Memorial at Hamilton Avenue and Kilbride.

Motorists are asked to pay attention to traffic control and to be prepared to take an alternate route.
