The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure would like to provide residents with an update on the rehabilitation of the Lewin Parkway Bridge in the City of Corner Brook.

Currently, the contractor is waiting for bearings for the bridge to be fabricated so work can resume on the project. Additionally, design work is underway to relocate a major waterline below the Trans-Canada Highway on-ramp near Massey Drive, in an effort to facilitate repair of the wall below the ramp.

Public safety remains paramount and the closure of this roadway remains necessary until critical repairs are completed. The department apologizes for any inconvenience this may be creating for motorists in the area.
