The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure wishes to advise that Rattling Brook Bridge on Route 93 (Mount Carmel) will be closed on Monday (August 28) and Tuesday (August 29). The closure is necessary to stabilize the excavation of the existing bridge to facilitate the replacement with the new structure.

The closure will commence at 6:00 a.m. on Monday and the bridge will reopen to traffic at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday evening.

A detour through Route 91 (Colinet) will be put in place and motorists are asked to reduce their speed, pay attention to traffic control, and travel cautiously through the community.
