Support of educational infrastructure projects help ensure safe and modern learning environments for students and teaching staff throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.

Budget 2023 includes a historic investment in provincial highways and roads, as well as new schools and health care facilities. More than $1.1 billion has been allocated for infrastructure, including more than $127 million for new schools in Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s, Cartwright and Kenmount Terrace in St. John’s, as well as the redevelopment of the school in Pilley’s Island.
