The Honourable Pam Parsons, Minister Responsible for Women and Gender Equality, will attend the 41st annual Federal, Provincial, and Territorial meetings of Ministers Responsible for the Status of Women in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island from July 31 to August 2.

The ministers will discuss key issues impacting the status of women and gender equality, including the importance of ensuring women’s equal participation in the economy, as well as the key priorities affecting Indigenous women, girls and gender-diverse people in Canada, including violence against women and girls. They will also share work being done in their respective jurisdictions to support the National Action Plan to End Gender-Based Violence, which was launched in November 2022.
