The Honourable Pam Parsons, Minister Responsible for Women and Gender Equality, will be joined by Lisa Hepfner, Parliamentary Secretary to the Honourable Marci Ien, Minister for Women and Gender Equality and Youth Canada, to participate in a funding announcement for the National Action Plan to End Gender-Based Violence.

The event takes place on Friday, December 15, at 9:30 a.m. at the Manuels River Hibernia Interpretation Centre, 7 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Bay South.

This announcement is among a series of bilateral agreements signed between the federal government, the provinces and territories.

The National Action Plan to End Gender-Based Violence reflects a shared commitment to preventing and addressing gender-based violence, while empowering communities through community-led solutions.
