The Honourable Sarah Stoodley, Minister Responsible for Francophone Affairs, will participate in a flag-raising ceremony in recognition of Provincial Francophonie Day today (Thursday, May 30) at 11:00 a.m.

Her Honour, The Honourable Joan Marie J. Aylward, O.N.L., Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, and His Honour, The Honourable Carl R. Thompson, K.C., will also be in attendance.

Hosted by the Francophone Federation of Newfoundland and Labrador, the flag-raising ceremony will take place in the East Block lobby of Confederation Building.

In the evening, the exterior of the building will also be lit in blue, white, and red in recognition of Provincial Francophonie Day.
