The Honourable Bernard Davis, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, will speak at a memorial unveiling ceremony in memory of the lost crewmembers of the Villa De Pitanxo, today (Friday, June 21).

The event will take place at Harbourside Park, Queen’s Cove, St. John’s, beginning at 11:30 a.m.

On February 15, 2022, 21 crewmembers of the Villa De Pitanxo, lost their lives off the shores of Newfoundland and Labrador.
