The Honourable Dr. Andrew Furey, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will be available to the media tomorrow (Tuesday, September 3) to discuss the final phase of the elimination of the 1.6 kilometre busing policy.

The availability will take place in the parking lot of Waterford Valley High, 465 Topsail Road, St. John’s, beginning at 10:30 a.m. In the event of inclement weather, the availability will be moved inside the school.

Premier Furey will be joined by the Honourable Fred Hutton, Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure and Minister of Rural Economic Development; Jamie Korab, MHA-elect for Waterford Valley; and Don Coombs, President of the Newfoundland and Labrador Federation of School Councils.
