The Department of Fisheries, Forestry and Agriculture is hosting a FireSmart event to create greater awareness about FireSmart Canada services and programs, and to demonstrate safe FireSmart practices, which reduce the risk of wildfire on residential properties.

The event will take place on Wednesday, May 15, at 10:30 a.m. at the Paddy’s Pond Forest Management District Office, 220 Paddy’s Pond Road.
