Residents and cabin owners in the Paradise Lake Resource Road area are advised that work will take place on three bridges (those near Island Pond, Peddle’s Brook and Nugent’s Brook) behind the old mill location from August 12-16, 2024. There will be delays or no access above the bridges while work is being completed.

Please note the following road closures:

• August 13, the road will be closed to traffic above the 14.2 kilometre point while the bridge near Nugent’s Brook is replaced.
• August 15, the road will be closed to traffic above the 10.1 kilometre point while the bridge near Peddle’s Brook is replaced.

The public should avoid the area where possible while construction is ongoing. Any questions or concerns can be directed to the Bishop’s Falls District Office, 709-258-5334.
