The Honourable Gerry Byrne, Minister of Fisheries, Forestry and Agriculture, will appear before the House of Commons Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans, today (Wednesday, October 9) beginning at 6:00 p.m. in Newfoundland, and 5:30 p.m. in most of Labrador.

Minister Byrne will discuss Northern Cod mismanagement and other issues related to Newfoundland and Labrador, such as redfish in Unit 1 West Coast of Newfoundland.
