The Honourable Gerry Byrne, Minister of Fisheries, Forestry and Agriculture, will deliver remarks at the Fish, Food, and Allied Workers (FFAW) Triannual Convention on Monday, November 18, beginning at 11:15 a.m. The convention is being held at the Quality Hotel, 100 Trans-Canada Highway, Gander.

Minister Byrne will address issues of corporate concentration, pathways for increasing processing capacity, and the union’s request to return to the collective bargaining process with a right to strike or lock-out.
