The Honourable Dr. Andrew Furey, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will mark the official opening of the new Western Memorial Regional Hospital today (Monday, June 10) beginning at 11:00 a.m.

Premier Furey will be joined by the Honourable Gerry Byrne, Minister of Immigration, Population Growth and Skills and MHA for Corner Brook; Scott Reid, MHA for St. George’s – Humber; Teara Freake, Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer Western Zone, NL Health Services; Robert Andrews KC, Chair of NL Health Services Board of Trustees; and Lloyd Walters, Vice Chair of NL Health Services Board of Trustees.
