The Honourable Andrew Parsons, KC, Minister of Industry, Energy and Technology, will attend the launch of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science, and Technology (IMarEST) Atlantic Canada Branch tomorrow (Friday, October 4).

The event takes place at the Fisheries and Marine Institute, 155 Ridge Road, St. John’s, at 10:00 a.m.

IMarEST is a registered charity and the international professional body and learned society for all marine professionals. They are the largest marine organization of their kind and the first institute to bring together marine engineers, scientists and technologists into one international multi-disciplinary professional body. They promote the scientific development of marine engineering, science and technology, providing opportunities for the exchange of ideas and practices and upholding the status, standards and knowledge of marine professionals worldwide.
