The Honourable Sarah Stoodley, Minister of Immigration, Population Growth and Skills, will attend the FIRST Lego League Robotics Championships tomorrow (Saturday, November 23).

The event takes place during the Skills Canada Newfoundland and Labrador Intermediate Challenge at the CNA Prince Philip Drive gymnasium, 1 Prince Philip Drive, St. John’s, beginning at 8:30 a.m.

The FIRST Lego League Challenge is a robotics competition that teaches science, technology, engineering, and math skills to youth aged nine to 14 in a fun, hands-on, way. Students who participate in FIRST Lego League build technical and soft skills, discover exciting career possibilities, and learn how to make a positive impact in their communities.
