The Honourable Sarah Stoodley, Minister of Immigration, Population Growth and Skills will bring greetings at Diwali, the festival of lights tomorrow (November 2, 2024).

The event is taking place at St. John’s Hindu Temple, 26 Penny Lane, St. John’s, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Minister Stoodley will be joined by the Honourable John Hogan, KC, Minister of Health and Community Services and Member of the House of Assembly for Windsor Lake.

The Diwali gathering will include traditional rituals, the lighting of Diyas (lamps), a cultural program, and a sumptuous feast.
