The Honourable Lisa Dempster, Minister of Labrador Affairs and Minister of Environment and Climate Change, is participating in events September 13 and 14 at the annual Cartwright Heritage Fair.

Labrador flag events, including a parade and a flag-raising ceremony at the town hall, start at 6:00 p.m. The opening of the Heritage Fair and a celebration of the Labrador flag gets under way at 6:30 p.m. at the Roy Sainsbury Memorial Gymnasium. Activities include traditional drumming, skits, traditional clothing fashion show, and music by the Flummies.
