The Honourable Pam Parsons, Minister of Women and Gender Equality, will bring greetings on behalf of the Provincial Government this evening (Tuesday, September 17) at the official opening of the Year of the Arts Women’s Play Festival.

The event takes place at First Light Centre for Performance and Creativity, 42 Bannerman Street, St. John’s, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Presented by PerSIStence Theatre Company, the Year of the Arts Women’s Play Festival will celebrate 16 plays over 12 days (September 17-28, 2024). This project is supported by the Creative Projects Fund administered by Celebrate NL as part of its Year of the Arts program.
