The Department of Digital Government and Service NL is reminding residents of Newfoundland and Labrador that the last day to have studded tires removed from their vehicles is Wednesday, April 30.

Under the Highway Traffic Act, studded tires may only be used between November 1 and April 30.

The Minister of Digital Government and Service NL has the authority to extend the deadline in cases where it is deemed prudent due to inclement weather.
