The Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador has granted a judicial recount for the electoral district of Topsail-Paradise, arising from the October 14, 2025, Provincial General Election

The recount will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 18 at the Supreme Court in St. John’s.

In accordance with the Elections Act, 1991, the judge shall certify the results to the Returning Officer of the electoral district of Topsail-Paradise, who shall then immediately declare the candidate with the greatest number of votes to be elected. Results will be announced within 2 days after the recount or final addition.
