Provincial Government and Newfoundland and Labrador Medical Association Reach Tentative Agreement

Today, the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador and the Newfoundland and Labrador Medical Association announced that they have reached a tentative agreement for the renewal of its Memorandum of Agreement.

The agreement represents physicians’ remuneration in the province with focus on the retention and recruitment of physicians in Newfoundland and Labrador. Details regarding the agreement will be released when the medical association completes its ratification process.

By working together with physicians and other health care providers, the Provincial Government is reimagining the delivery of health care, as envisioned by Health Accord NL.
