A lock-in for Budget 2025 will be held for media representatives on Wednesday, April 9, in the Conference Centre, West Block, Confederation Building.

The agenda for the lock-in is as follows (all times are approximate):

8:30 a.m.      Lock-in area opens
9:00 a.m.      Lock-in begins
9:45 a.m.      Briefing with Finance officials
10:45 a.m.    News conference with Minister Siobhan Coady
1:45 p.m.      Media representatives move to Confederation Building lobby
2:00 p.m.      Embargo lifts when Minister Coady rises to deliver the budget speech

Media are invited to conduct interviews or live coverage of budget proceedings from the Confederation Building lobby. Set up can begin at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 9.
