The Honourable John Hogan, KC, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will participate in the 2025 Canada Games Press Conference and Torch Relay.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, at the Marine Atlantic Administration Building, 175 Hardy’s Arterial Road, Port aux Basques.

The Roly McLenahan Canada Games Torch was lit in Ottawa on June 11 to officially kick-off the countdown to the games. The torch will arrive in Port aux Basques on the Marine Atlantic ferry just prior to the event where the captain of the Marine Atlantic vessel will pass it on to Premier Hogan. The torch will then continue its journey to St. John’s with the help of many torchbearers along the way.
