The Honourable John Hogan, KC, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will be in western Newfoundland tomorrow (Tuesday, July 1) to attend Memorial Day and Canada Day Ceremonies.
At 8:30 a.m., Premier Hogan will attend the City of Corner Brook’s Canada Day flag raising ceremony. The ceremony will take place in Civic Square, which is located at the city’s city hall – 5 Park Street. This year’s event is extra special as the 2025 Canada Games torch will be present.
At 11:00 a.m., Premier Hogan will attend a Memorial Day ceremony at the town hall in the Town of Pasadena. The town hall is located at 18 Tenth Avenue.
The Honourable Dr. Scott Reid, Minister of Environment and Climate Change and Indigenous Affairs and Reconciliation, will join Premier Hogan at both events.
